We shall soon be getting a “New Government" to take care of our nation. The Security Concerns of the Nation are expected to remain same and must be addressed with serious efforts. It amazes me and millions of people those who find it horrifying to know that funds allocated for the defence and security of the country were returned “un-Utilised" by the concerned ministries. Much needed Defence and Internal Security equipments were NOT procured due to defective and lengthy decision making processes and inability to decide because of the fear of getting involved in any sort of “Scam". National Leadership of this Nation must ponder over this serious issue and NO one must be allowed to play with the Safety & Defence of our country. Any delay in addressing Defence & Internal Security issues MUST be viewed as “Treason" and accountability must be fixed while setting the procurement processes. We are passing through a very critical phase which requires leadership to be strong and decisive in evaluating our security needs and ability to pro-act. The support mechanism for such leadership must be patriotically brilliant in nature and honest by blood. Track records of leaders and officers must be made public so that they attract admiration and respect from the people. Such leaders and officers should be honoured with “Padam Shree" and Padam Bhushan" while announcing their citations for the work accomplished. The time has come that we all must insist for “Performers" in Central & State Governments and its allied departments. This “Breed of New Leadership" will infuse new confidence in the Economic Leadership of our country, which always remain sceptical about the intensions and approaches of political leadership and compelled to use not so fair means to achieve their corporate objectives. This New Leadership will generate comfortable environment and Win-Win situation for all of us.Once again I had the privilege of calling on Her Excellency Smt Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India,on May 04, 2009 and enjoyed few moments of sharing our concerns for the Safety & security of the nation and unique ability of CAPSI & APDI to respond to any “Call of the Nation". Her Excellency accepted my request to meet the entire leadership of CAPSI & APDI over a high tea session at Rashtrapati Bhawan on June 12, 2009 when we shall be holding the Governing Council meeting of CAPSI at New Delhi. All State Chapter Chairmen and Secretary Generals are being invited to participate and to deliberate over the role of CAPSI and its support to the NEW GOVERNMENT.
Looking forward to see you soon..
